Based in the Old Town area of Swindon our offices offer nearby parking and we’re only 5 minutes walk from the town centre.

To date we’ve arranged insurance and loan contracts totalling almost £700 million and have clients all over the UK. Much of our business is generated via client referrals and we are one of the longest established mortgage and insurance broking firms in the Swindon area.

In recent months we’ve taken increasing volumes of enquiries via a number of the leading financial comparison site portals such as moneysupermarket.com and hope to be recruiting an additional adviser in the near future. We have also aquired specialist knowledge of the pilot protection insurance marketplace.

Russ Stein and Nicki McCormack, our principal advisers, have accumulated combined financial services experience of over 45 years – and worked together for 20 of them.

Russ Stein’s financial services career dates back to 1983 when he joined Nat West bank as a management trainee . Subsequently he joined Nationwide Building society where he progressed to branch assistant manager . In 1986 Russ joined Parkers Mortgage Service and was soon managing two offices in the Swindon area . In 1989 he left Parkers and established Stein Financial.

Nicki Mc.Cormack has been associated with Stein Financial since 1990 when she joined as our case progress manager . Since this time she has become a fully qualified mortgage and protection adviser with specialist knowledge within the General Insurance field.

For mortgages which complete we typically charge a fee of £390 plus commission from the lender. If paying by fee only this is usually 1% of the loan and any commission would be rebated to you.
